Ed Stetzer recently posted a statistic he used in a presentation from Lifeway research.

The information is not unexpected but I hope that as a collective it will shock you awake to the necessity and urgency for YOU to be a witness for God TODAY.

Views of God (those who somewhat or strongly agree)

God, a higher or supreme being, actually exists.


  • 20-29: 81%

  • 30+: 73%

There exists only one God, the God described in the Bible.


  • 20-29: 57%

  • 30+: 48%

The God of the Bible is no different from the gods or spiritual beings depicted by world religions such as Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.


  • 20-29: 58%

  • 30+: 67%

Jesus died and came back to life.


  • 20-29: 66%

  • 30+: 54%

Views of Church (those who somewhat or strongly agree)

I do not think my lifestyle would be accepted at most Christian churches.

The church is full of hypocrites, people who criticize others for doing the same thing they do themselves.

I believe I can have a good relationship with God without being involved in a church.
