I think it's appropriate to write about the reason why I started this website. In 2007 I've had the privilege (or at least assumed I've had it) to send interesting articles, websites and other useful content to some of the youth leaders in my church. If you're reading this, you could quite possibly be one of them.

I've come to realize that no matter how excellent an article may be… If received at the wrong time, will not be read. It is even less likely that you'll come back to read it later date since the very nature of email is "read and throw away".

I desire that Marked By Faith will be a blessing to you, that I will be less concerned about how nice (or not nice) she looks - and let God use those more gifted and usable to write under the influence of the Spirit. I want to keep to what I've always done, writing very little but providing lots of links. Basically less about me and more about God!

I hope that this blog will:

1. Become a resource.
   


2. Increase in readership to become greater blessing.
   


3. Become a source of nourishment and encourage thinking.


4. Build some common ground between us – I've read something you've read!
